Oliver Twist

The best-known of all Dickens'' novels, Oliver Twist has been adapted for the screen on numerous occasions, most notably the 1968 musical Oliver!, which won the Oscar for best picture. The original novel, the second from Charles Dickens, has been in print since 1838.
