"Oliver Twist" was Charles Dickens' second novel, further establishing him as one of England's greatest writers of the 19th century. Set in London in the midst of an industrial revolution, the novel treats issues such as child labor, poverty, and criminal greed. It was originally published with the title "The Parish Boy's Progress."
