Marine Microbiology

To get a sound grip on the subject, a beginner's course in marine microbiology is very important so that the essence of this branch of environmental science can diffuse in a clear and accessible form to the student community. None of the text books available in the country, at present accomplishes these goals of understanding, identifying and culturing the marine microbes. It is for these reasons, the authors Abhijit Mitra and Kakoli Banerjee decided to write this book with Kakoli Banerjee citing the microbial picture of the coastal zone in our country as important case studies.
