Design of a simple and differential thermal analysis device

In the need to enhance our laboratory equipment, we wanted to design a temperature measurement device with a hardware and software system that would allow simple and differential thermal analysis. Arduino(R) programs were developed to read temperatures from three different types of electrical sensors: the K thermocouple, the DS18B20 probe and the LM35 sensor. A PID-controlled oven using Arduino(R) was also designed to perform thermal analysis. The ATS and ATD curves were obtained using Python programs. The experiments carried out concluded that the device had acceptable accuracy and precision.
