The curriculum contains five sections and has been adopted by the government.
- The first section, Fundamental values and tasks of the school, applies to the compulsory school, preschool class and school-age educare
- The second section, Overall goals and guidelines, applies to the compulsory school and, apart from the content about grading, to the preschool class and school-age educare
- The third section applies to the pre-school class
- The forth section to school-age educare
- The fifth section containing syllabuses applies to the compulsory school.
