The theme of this edited volume persists on the enumeration and assessment of species diversity of invertebrates and vertebrates in variety of aquatic ecosystems across the length and width of the country. Behavioural, structural and organizational diversity in fish has been included which are equally important issues in the larger frame of biodiversity.
