Dekodiphukan

Dekodiphukan (pronounced decode-if-you-can) is a popular children's storybook that is both entertaining and educational. When used as part of the Baratta-Lorton Reading Program, it introduces children to the 44 sounds or phonemes that make up all the words in the English language. As a kindergarten teacher said in her Amazon.com review, "e;This is the best way for kids to learn sounds..."e;. Since 1985, when Dekodiphukan was first published, the book has been a child-favorite inside of school and out.
