The practical commentary on Matthew's Gospel is written for pastoral co-workers and for the faithful. It is a solid help for a better, deeper and profounder understanding of biblical teaching and it will help to preach the Good News more convincingly always and everywhere. The conception of this commentary follows the principle of "e;Lectio Divina"e; in five steps (cf. Pope Benedict XVI, Verbum Domini. The Word of the Lord, no. 87): to read the "e;Word of God"e;, meditate/reflect on it, pray with it and internalize it, as well as live out the biblical message. In doing so, the Christian lifestyle will be inspired biblically. Der Aufbau des Kommentars folgt dem Prinzip der "e;Lectio Divina"e; (vgl. Papst Benedikt XVI., Verbum Domini, Nr. 87) oder in den Worten von Papst Franziskus ausgedruckt: "e;contemplativa in actione"e;. So stutzt die Abfolge von Lekture, Meditation, Gebet und Verinnerlichung die Motivation, zu wirklich alltagsverandernden Handlungsweisen zu finden. Auf diese Weise wird "e;die Verkundigung des Evangeliums einfacher, tief und ausstrahlend"e; (Papst Franziskus am 25. September 2013).
