30 simple intervention sessions for Reception and KS1 children with speech sound difficulties, to enable them to develop secure foundations for phonics and speech sounds.

This supportive, easy-to-use resource offers 30 session plans that a teacher or TA can use in intervention groups throughout the academic year, without the need for a costly and complicated new programme or using specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) time for a large number of children. All of the materials complement existing UK phonics programmes and are designed to work well alongside your current teaching.

These 30 simple half-hour sessions give children opportunities to practise and develop their speech sound skills. The specific focus on speaking and listening from experienced therapists helps to unlock speech sound difficulties, support the children’s learning and enable them to develop secure foundations for phonics.
