Environmental impact assessment

This book analyzes the place of environmental assessment mechanisms in texts relating to environmental issues at both international and national levels, in the case of Morocco.It sheds light on the emergence and place of environmental impact assessment in international organizations, conventions and conferences, and attempts to identify the general principles and basic mechanisms involved.It also examines the various aspects of environmental impact assessment in Morocco, looking at the legal arsenal governing the environment and its scope in terms of the projects, policies, strategies, plans and programs envisaged by public authorities. It also sheds light, with reference to Moroccan texts, on the rules governing the drafting of EIAs, their content and control procedures.
