Buckle Up, It's Going to be a Bumpy Ride, is a behind the scenes look at my 37 years in the Car Business. 49 Short Vignettes. After College, I worked in Radio for a year, then was laid off. Needing a Job, I responded to a newspaper ad for Car Sales. I knew the sales manager at the dealership and thought I would do it for a year or so. It turned into a 37-year career. For decades, I threatened to write a book about some of the wacky people and wild situations, I encountered, but did not think anyone would believe it. I retired last year and made good on my threat.
