ASA agent William Wright had matured from being a brash young soldier to a seasoned espionage agent with a gift that foretold impending danger. He gradually changed from a baby-faced university student to a devilish handsome young man with an agenda in pursuing communist agents to beautiful ladies in Europe. These traits had a tendency to have him loved or hated according to who was taken advantage of his availability. The ones who disliked his natural confident manner were usually fathers protecting their daughters or husbands who became adversaries. He never turned downor almost nevera ladys wishes when they were needed to make sure an assignment was successful. Loyalty was his creed with fellow associates, lovers and the three generals he answered to, and justifiable force was his trademark. Will asked for no quarter and gave only when respect warranted such reactions.
