This book deals with the arts of drama, poetry, and theater in the literature of the Pharaohs, and it is a continuation of a series of books and research presented to the Arab Library by archaeologist Dr. Salim Hassan wanted with it to record the precedence of the Pharaohs in many of the arts of speech, and as he put it, "Until recently, we were unaware of the ancient Egyptians'' mastery of it or their treatment of its chapters."The word drama, in its modern meaning, is a story about human life, and facts taken from it, represented by people who imitate the era in which that story took place in its real language and clothing. This definition is a translation of the Greek word Dramatos, which means "to act," and its true meaning is "a represented incident." ». Drama, as we know it now, is divided into three categories: - Tragedy, which means "tragedy" - Comedy, which means "amusement" - or it is a mixture of the two.The word "tragic" is one of the true examples of words that completely lose their original meaning with the passage of time and changing events, and thus become an indication of a meaning that is not at all consistent with the meaning for which it was intended. The modern meaning of the word "tragedy" is "a play" with a tragic ending. In fact, this is the furthest thing from the true meaning of the word.
