Balance between Abi Tammam and Al -Bahtari

The book focuses on two artistic doctrines that form us in the third century AH, namely: the doctrine of Abi Tammam, who was concerned with deepening meanings, as it was concerned with the good deeds and exaggeration and extravagance in it. And the doctrine of Al -Bahtari, who used to follow the example of the first, took care of the sweetness of the word and the purity of the phrase, and used the wonderful improvements, but without wasting or costing. The author condones the mention of the final result and for those who were predominant, but it is clear - from his point of view - the superiority of Al -Bahtari, despite what is mentioned that he will be objective in his proposal, and neutral in his position, but clear, his great bias to the seat and his intolerance to him, despite his attempt to hide this. The book in its entirety is one of the most important books of criticism in that historical era.
