Most writers never put down their names on paper, and most speakers never mention them. Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba Mbacke is one of them. Whenever the mainstream media is celebrating peacemakers and heroes who led peaceful resistance against their opponents like Gandhi or King, they always forget Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba, who led peaceful resistance against French colonizers years before anyone, including those great leaders I named. But being a writer that no one reads would not stop me from telling the world about this man. His ability to endure pain is unbelievable, his power to forgive injustice done to him is indescribable, and his spiritual power is untouchable. The French colonizers exiled him to Gabon almost eight years, separated him from his family, followers, even tried to murder him based on false accusations. His enemies made up around him just to destroy him, though, all their plans were blown out of the water and he beat them all, one by one.

This is the second book of the series named 'Light up the Midnight, ' which is an ongoing episode covering thematically the life of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba, his doctrine, and his heritage.
