My name is Violet A. Newborn; I was born on May 27, 1979, in Inglewood, California but raised in Memphis, TN. I was sold for a week's worth of groceries in the middle of the night by my mother & father. To my paternal grandfather in 1986, during a home visit, while I was still the property of the state of California, I was 7 yrs old. I was told I'll be going to Memphis just around the corner and then right back but after a very, very long drive, we arrived at All Believers of the Church of God in Shelby County. His instructions to his city of Saints were, do not touch me unless he gave his permission first. I was planted in the middle of his unholy garden of pedophiles called All Children's Learning Center to produce his legacy. California foster care eventually figured out that I was missing located me and immediately contacted Tennessee authorities. They knocked on my wealthy grandfather's door without any explanation he made several donations and sent word back that he had plans to adopt me. I was never adopted just stolen and without rescue, I was made to pay off the church's debts with my tiny body. His Saints were broken, obedient, and loyal back then, and to this very day, they still worship him out of fear even in death just by keeping his secrets. But as his granddaughter and one of the thousands of Survivors, the generational curse stops with me. Only God can grow a Violet out of a pile of dirt in the garden of the devil's congregation. Then send me back to Memphis to use me to plant seeds of forgiveness, hope, and restoration over the years to see who all would water them but now it's harvest time in Jesus' name Amen.
