Inviting Families Into the Classroom

A study of parent-teacher relationships that captures the complexity and nuance of working with the families of students. Based on the 30 year teaching career of the author and drawing on extensive archive documents it provides a unique example of practitioner research, showing how teachers can use a variety of data collected in the classroom to both enhance their own practice and to inform that of others.
