I Don't Know What to Say: How to Be a Blessing to Cancer Patients and Others in Crisis

There are many people who want to help others, to give encouragement, and to offer support. Yet the struggle that often follows this desire is summarized in the following words (either spoken or unspoken): "...but I don't know what to say." God desires that we love Him with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength (intimacy) and our neighbor as ourselves (influence). Effectiveness in this endeavor must be preceded by personal preparation and readiness. In this handbook, the first section deals with personal preparation, and the latter topics address the practical application of that discipline.
