Will it be a cakewalk to the world championship for the US national women's basketball team? It should be, since they are called The Franchise, the best team in WBB history. But it turns out not to be smooth for these star hoopsters. Nick Johnson has taken on the job of being their poetry coach, but decides to ground them in some American history instead. The women start thinking about who it is they are actually representing as a team, and eventually they must make a momentous choice between following their ideals and being disqualified from the world final. Either way they choose, this is a team America can be proud of
