Adventure Second Prime: Friendship, Bonds, and the Unlikely Hero

Emery Acer is an average high school senior who also loves shounen manga. He was once a jock, but having quit the sports scene is looking for something to make his senior year exciting. As events unfold, he becomes the leader of a "hero" club and as they unfold some more he is given superhuman powers. However, his powers were given to him by less than heroic means, by someone with an anti-hero agenda. Emery must choose between his powers and his new friends. Or was it that they choose him? This book is a short novel, much like Japanese short novels such as "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya". However, it is based in the style of battle anime such as "Naruto" and "One Piece". Written for anime fans and fantasy story lovers everywhere
