When Rain Rises

This is a personal story, a fraction of life, written in poetry. It is the story of a loving, dedicated wife living through the struggling times that have been impacted by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It weaves the story of the love that a wife has for her husband, veteran and first responder, that struggled with PTSD and alcohol disease. Loving through the trials... Living through the loss... Trying to move on... Holding on too tight... Bringing all the feels, all the mess, all the emotions of living with mental illness. Trying to live the good life with Christ, our Savior.
