The full name of The Stele of Cao Quan is The Stele of Han Heyang Ling Cao Quan, also known as The Stele of Cao Jingwan. It was established in October of the second year of Zhongping in the Eastern Han Dynasty (185). It was unearthed in the old city of Hexian County, Shaanxi Province in the early Wanli year of Ming Dynasty, and was collected in Xi''an Forest of Steles Museum in 1956. The content is Wang Chang''s account of Cao Quan''s life. This stele is one of the representative works of Han steles and a typical example of beauty. Its structure and brushwork have reached a very perfect state. In the Qing Dynasty, Wanjing commented on this stele: "e;beautiful and vivid, without restraint, without rushing, it is also a divine product."e; The Stele of Cao Quan is one of the few works that are relatively well preserved and have clear fonts among the Han Dynasty stone steles in our country.
