"Violin School" by Josef Joachim and Andreas Moser is the first and one of the most thorough modern violin playing tutorials. The book covers the whole subject of violin technique from the holding of violin and bow to the scales in tenths or style of playing grace-notes and embellishments with plenty of music examples. Since its first publishing in Berlin on 1905 it has always been of a great current interest. This edition represents the second volume of this work - "Studies in the Positions".
