Through the Storm, Under His Wings

Joel was diagnosed with leukemia on Friday, Dec. 21st, just days before Christmas. On Christmas Eve, we learned about Joel's diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He underwent chemotherapy treatment to remove the cancerous white blood cells in his bone marrow in the hopes of his body producing healthy white blood cells. He also underwent a bone marrow transplant. "It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones." Proverbs 3:8As we went through our journey, I wrote down the difficult moments and the precious moments in a blog.
