The Microbiology and Mutagenicity Evaluation of Hospital Wastewaters

This book evaluates some of the major challenges faced by developing nations in the discharge, treatment and management of hospital wastewaters and also states some recommendations on the way forward in view to proper disposal and management of such waste in order to reduce its potential hazards both on man, animals, climate and the environment. It also raises awareness on the continous resistivity of microorganism to commonly used antibiotics and the mutagenic potential of such waste.
