The Little Book of Big Projects

This book takes child-friendly themes and suggests ideas for turning these into large-scale collaborative projects with real impact. The ideas are starting points and the emphasis is on problem solving, collaboration and thinking skills rather than the end product, although photos of already completed projects help to inspire along the way! The suggestions in the book allow for 'children to use talk to organise, sequence and clarify thinking and ideas and ask questions about why things happen and how things work.' EYFS 2007
