The book The Law and the Pauline Doctrine by Rav Sha'ul is a detailed theological treatise that seeks to clarify the true role, nature, and enduring authority of the Law of Yahuah (God) as revealed in Scripture, particularly focusing on the teachings of the Apostle Sha'ul (Paul). Rav Sha'ul argues against the widespread misconception that the Law was abolished by Yahusha (Jesus) or the Apostle Sha'ul, and dismantles the "Pauline Doctrine" propagated by mainstream Christianity, which he regards as a distortion rooted in Hellenistic paganism and mistranslation.

The core thesis is that the Law of Yahuah is eternal, jurisdictional, and spiritually appraised rather than abolished or superseded. The Law was progressively revealed through covenants dating back to Adam, originally communicated orally, then written in stone, and now transposed onto the hearts of believers through the Yahushaic Covenant. The Law serves as the governing constitution of the Kingdom of Yahuah and is inseparable from the Plan of Salvation, which is conditional on obedience to the Law and faith in Yahusha as the Passover Lamb who fulfilled and perfected the Law by covering the death decrees (penalties) it contains.

Rav Sha'ul emphasizes that true righteousness is obedience to the intent of the Law, not merely ritualistic adherence to its letter. Both Yahusha and Sha'ul taught this transposition from letter to spirit, which grants liberty to mature sons of Yahuah, but this liberty must be exercised responsibly to avoid causing others to stumble. Self-righteous judgment based on the letter alone is condemned repeatedly, and only mature sons appointed by Yahuah are qualified to judge righteously.

The book also exposes how Christian translations and teachings have systematically twisted Sha'ul's writings to justify the abolition of the Law, the doctrine of incarnation (Jesus as God in the flesh), and pagan traditions such as Easter and Sunday worship. Rav Sha'ul urges believers to study the Law personally under the guidance of the Spirit of Holiness. The Law of Yahuah is portrayed as the foundation for personal sanctification, the role of the Messiah, and the future Kingdom where true sons of Yahuah will reign as priests and kings.

Rav Sha'ul shows that Sha'ul never taught that the Law was abolished or that faith excludes obedience. Rather, Sha'ul taught that faith in Yahusha as the promised Passover Lamb justifies sinners, covering the death decrees in the Law, while true sanctification and righteousness come from obedience to the Law's spiritual intent. The so-called Pauline Doctrine is a distortion invented by the early Greek Church to incorporate pagan beliefs.
