The antibacterial of Peganum harmala, muscle relaxant, hypnotic seeds

P. harmala is a famous medicinal plant used in Iraq. Various studies have shown that P. Harmala has different pharmacological and therapeutic effects. The Harmaline, Harmalol and Harmine may have pharmacodynamic effect on the central nervous system, ranged between stimulation and depression, depending on the dose. P. harmala indicates a great variety of pharmacological activities such as dye of carpets. It is also used to dye the wool as antimicrobial antitumour and MAO inhibitory activities.
