Amelia needs surgery to find out why she and her husband won't get pregnant but instead of sleep while under anesthesia she wakes up in a different reality. Grimrokk is everything her ordinary world is not. It's magical, unexplainable and terrifying. Meeting people that take care of her and help her master her extraordinary ability's, she also meets Majliv, her irritating saviour. Sleeping in one world tend to mean waking up in the other. Fighting in bout world for the next generation to see the light of day, being them her own children or the entire world's she is fighting for life. But while in this fight she also needs to keep Grimrokk's biggest secret, or forever be lost to this magical place.
