Innovative Technologies for Irrigation of Foothill Lands

The monograph considers issues of water saving and soil protection on the basis of improved methods of irrigation, land reclamation, agrotechnics, which are aimed at water and resource saving, as well as stimulation of soil fertility improvement, intensification of farming on irrigated lands in the south of the republic. For this purpose, the methods of using irrigation techniques to provide water, air, heat, nutrient and favorable chemical regimes of soil on the basis of application of rational elements of irrigation technique and technology on soil-relief and climatic features of the southern region of the country, in particular, Kashkadarya province, have been developed and scientifically substantiated.
