Health repercussions

Work is a way of being in the world and has an important impact on people's lives. The modern world has demanded more and more from workers, whether through exhausting working hours, precarious working conditions, stress in the activities to be carried out, or insufficient pay. The repercussions of these demands have had important repercussions on workers' health and this area of research has grown with approaches that alert both workers and managers in order to reduce these impacts. This book, by addressing the work process, psychosocial aspects and the chronotype of workers in work environments and their repercussions on health, brings interesting reflections in the context of different categories of workers, such as higher education teaching nurses, military firefighters and gas station attendants.
