Systematic evaluation of Edible Seed Watermelon germplasm for seedling-stage Fus wiltarium, powdery mildew, and bacterial fruit blotch resistance unveiled resistance differences among germplasms and picked out resistant ones. Also, phenotypic traits of thermal-sensitive watermelon and cultivated watermelon hybrids were observed. These studies offer scientific backing and rich germplasm for disease breeding-resistant watermelon and melon varieties.
