There's a lot of information in here, and I really liked reading about playing the game from a casual perspective rather than a full-time gamer. The thing I liked the most, though, was that the author didn't spoil the game for me by giving me every detail of what happens. I like being able to find things out on my own. Casual GamerCredentials: I'm a "casual gamer" but I've finished this game. I'm a little over fifty... I was 9 when Pong kicked things off and 15 when Space Invaders hit the arcades. I wasn't good enough to get high scores then and I'm still not, I don't even play every day. My reflexes are average, I have bad hand eye coordination and no sense of direction. None of that stopped me winning.
That's why many of you will enjoy this book. We haven't played from the age of five. We're not "twitch killers" with thousands of hours of experience. We don't have the reflexes of a coked up Ninja (BTW if you do, you'll still find value in this book because we go smart, not hard).
