The famous cycle by the great German composer. Each part includes 24 preludes and fugues in all keys. This edition, prepared by the renowned Italian pianist Bruno Mugellini, gained wide popularity thanks to its detailed pedagogical guidance. The notes and comments are provided in four languages: Russian, English, Italian, and French.

The preparation and publication were carried out in the 1960s by the well-known Russian musicologist and textual scholar N. A. Kopchevsky.
