Zur Objektivität der sinnlichen Wahrnehmung

The present Volume 8 of the Collected Works of Roman Ingarden follows Volumes 6 and 7 published in 1994 and 1996 respectively and brings the edition of the epistemological writings of the Polish phenomenologist to a close. It contains German translations of Ingarden's posthumous writings on external perception, with special reference to the question of its objectivity. The texts document Ingarden's impressive attempt to proceed from the analyses of Husserl and other phenomenologists and fashion them into his own realistically oriented version of a phenomenological theory of perception.
