York County, Pennsylvania Church Records of the 18th Century, Volume 3

This series contains a collection of all known church registers and pastoral records of births, marriages, and deaths in York County in the 18th century - exclusive of the records for that region of York County which was to become Adams County in 1800. This volume is devoted to the following churches: Kreutz Creek (St. James) Lutheran, Kreutz Creek (Trinity) Reformed, Blymir's (St. John's) Union, Warrington Monthly Meeting, Strayer's (Salem) Reformed, Strayer's (Salem) Lutheran, Canadochly Union, Wolf's (St. Paul's) Reformed, Quickel's (Zion) Lutheran and Reformed. This volume also includes the Register of John Casper Stoever (1730-1799), Jacob Lischy's Private Pastoral Record (1743-1769), Rev. John Cuthbertson's Register (1751-1791), and the Private Register of Rev. Robert Cathcart (1793-1800). A bibliography, a map of churches, and a full-name index add to the value of this work.
