Todas las ma anas, Lola se levanta, sale del piso al que acaba de mudarse --el mejor que ha podido alquilar en Barcelona-- y acude al instituto donde trabaja. Durante esas horas de intensa actividad, ella consigue olvidarse de los problemas, de las obsesiones y de ese exmarido al que, en cierto modo, a n sigue queriendo. Incluso consigue dejar atr s el misterio que envuelve a su familia, acostumbrada, como tantas otras, a cubrir el pasado con un manto de silencio. Pero el conflicto con un alumno que atraviesa un momento dif cil y un inesperado hallazgo sobre ese secreto familiar que ella se ha empe ado en desentra ar llevan a Lola al l mite de sus fuerzas...

Every morning, Lola wakes up, leaves the apartment she just moved into--the best she could rent in Barcelona--and walks to the institute where she works. During those hours of intense activity, she forgets about her problems, her obsessions, and that ex-husband whom, in a way, she is still in love with. Lola even manages to leave the mystery surrounding her family behind, a family inclined to hiding the past under a cloak of silence, like many others. But conflicts with a student who's going through a hard time and an unexpected find regarding the family secret she is determined to unravel will push Lola to the limit...

Will we ever stop keeping quiet about what hurts, pretending it doesn't exist? Will we ever accept that there are more questions than answers?
