X-Mas Tree

As Christmas approaches, 15-year-old Peter cannot understand why his father wants to hang onto the family's aging artificial tree that has seen better days. Peter sets off to remedy this by getting his first job at a local Christmas tree stand. He enjoys his hard earned wages and takes pride in being able to make purchases for his family members. With his confidence surging, he takes it one step further to defy his father by purchasing a fresh Christmas tree instead of putting up the old artificial one as he was told. What ensues is the defining of generations and a shift in perspective as Peter comes to understand what it means to be a provider and sees his father in a different light.
