Say what you want, and admire poetry what you like, and memorize as much of the poets'' standing over the ruins and their crying over the homes and their mention of oppressors as you can, for all of this will remain in your soul empty words that contain nothing and do not indicate anything, until you stand in a position a while ago like the one you stood among these ruins. To the right and to the left, and to remember what you mentioned about this strong, rich, fertile life that was filled with movement and activity, in which hopes and hopes were disturbed, and which summarized a past generation and predicted a generation to come, then it was in vain and dispersed across the earth, and nothing of it remained in this place except an echo that people cannot sense. All of them do not appreciate its existence, but they are felt by people like you and me who participated in this life, were affected by it, and filled their souls and hearts with its images.
