This book contains etymological studies of the Iranian vocabulary of Khurasan. The words treated are gleaned from Ibrahim Shakurzade's book on the beliefs and customs of the Khurasanis published in Tehran in 1968. There are 612 word entries, extensive indexes and a detailed bibliography. The book is a valuable contribution to Iranian lexical research.
