Worried Note: The Katie Series

In this sequel, Katie spends the school year navigating her time between her best friend Theresa and a crew of new friends. The new friends, 'the cool girl's crew' are well-liked, fashionable, and popular and they want Katie to be in their click. Theresa does not want to join and she does not want Katie to join either.

Katie is anxious to join the crew. But it feels wrong.

Katie is trying to fit in and remain true to herself at the same time. She likes the girls but she does not always agree with them. Katie looks for the right tools to arm herself with to solve her dilemma. Fitting-in can be awkward and sometimes disturbing for a young adult. This story takes you through Katie's struggle with issues of identity, self-esteem, and judgments of her peers.
