Workplace Accidents Involving Biological Material Among Nursing Staff

Due to the nature of their work, nursing professionals are constantly at risk of accidents involving biological materials. This study analyzes the main causes of accidents involving biological material among nursing staff at a hospital in the interior of Minas Gerais, Brazil, adherence to post-accident chemoprophylaxis, and underreporting among these professionals.
