Women and Education

19th century gave predominant position to education, as the most significant instrument for changing womens subjugated position in the society. The spread of education made them aware of their rights and privileges in the society. By their untiring efforts it was proved beyond doubt that men were no longer tiny gods for women and women no longer dolls or footstools for men. Both are equally fitted to help each other.
