Inspired by the Author's experience of growing up on an Australian Bush property.The book contains around 50 colourful, hand painted illustrations of Australian native animals, reptiles, birds and insects including Koalas, Kangaroos, Emus, Echidnas and Platypus, beautiful birds, frilled-neck lizards and more. The story takes the reader on a journey through the changing scenery of an Australian Winter and on into springtime in the bush. It shows how things change when it's cold and dry and difficult for animals to find food and water and then how it all changes again in Springtime, making them so happy.
