Wild Life documents the first two decades of Jack Hoy's interest and engagement in wildfowling, fishing and other country pursuits. Jack's love for the landscape and wildlife around Mersea Island shines through in his evocative, poetic prose which brings the scents, scenery and sounds of the salt marshes surrounding the Blackwater Estuary and its wild inhabitants to life in a mesmerising way.
