A Wife's Prayer is my testimony of how God met me in the depths of anger, loneliness, and heartbreak-and poured out His perfect love. I married my high school sweetheart with dreams of a beautiful life, but those dreams quickly unraveled. While he was deployed overseas, I discovered painful secrets he'd left behind. Betrayed and alone, I had no choice but to put my hurt on hold-until his unexpected return.Just four months into deployment, an IED changed everything. My husband came home wounded, and I stepped into the role of caregiver-completely unprepared and emotionally shattered. Loneliness crept in. Anger took root.
