Who Am I

UNWANTEDFirst thing he rememberedwas it being dark and cold. He didnt know where he wasand he didnt know how old. He didnt have an addressor a place that he called home. From as long as he rememberedall he did was roam. He was bullied and shoved aroundalmost every daywhen all he really wantedwas just a place to stay. It seemed like everyone he metwanted to pick a fightwhen the only need he hadwas a place to sleep at night. Sometimes he was shouted atand told he was no good. He was told he wasnt wantedin their fine neighborhood. They would call the authoritieson any given daybut he was getting street smartand would simply run away. He was not the only onewho was treated in this way. There were many like himwho just lived from day to day. When youre a dog someone lovesthen everything seems okbut things are so much differentwhen you are just a stray.
