What The Heck is Prayer Anyway?

I was a born again, Spirit-filled, tongue-talking Christian for more than 20 years, but one day I said to God, "What the heck is prayer anyway?" After I got off the phone with my mother who always asked me, "'Did you pray today?" All I knew about prayer... it was talking to God: God help me, help so and so and do this for me and do that for me; pretty shallow requests. I did not know about intimacy with God, I didn't know I could get close to Him, and that He would get close to me and wanted to get close to me. I didn't know that there were levels of prayer. So, after I said that to God; " What the heck is prayer anyway?" - my life turned upside down and thus began my journey of obedience, surrender and encountering God. This is my story. You can have as much of God as you want; you can get as close to Him as you want. How much do you want Him? He is seeking hungry hearts after Him. I am no one special, but I had a hungry heart and a heart to know God more. I went after Him, and you can too I hope your challenged to seek Him more after you read my story
