What is Agile Software Development Governance? 2nd Edition

Agile Software Development Governance is a new coined term. For so many, it appears to be a replacement for traditional means of Software Development Project Management. The main idea here is to revise the traditional concept of 'Project' that indicates a generally fixed frame of time, budget and efforts as well as planning in advance for the needed activities and their required resources (e.g. human resource with concrete skills, equipment, places, etc.). In Agile environments, the work, i.e. software development, is virtually an ongoing process (or set of processes) that needs to be 'governed' considering its various dimensions including time and cost, and be continued without a fixed time frame as long as it earns value for its customer. However, the question that this book endeavors to answer is what is the notion of Agile Governance itself -in the field of Software Development- ? As is shown throughout the book, the notion is not well defined yet even though the hopes and expectations is very high. To answer such a question, a wide range of literature has been reviewed and categorized. The results have been processed and presented in various figures and tables.
