Way Off the Path

You weren't supposed to find this. It's not on any map, and it doesn't belong on a shelf. Someone carried it out from a place that doesn't send things back - and if you're reading this, that someone might be you. Inside are nine thresholds that aren't supposed to exist, and the paths between them that no one admits to walking. Some will welcome you. Some will test you. All will remember you, whether you pass through or turn back. If anyone asks where you got it... say you don't remember.
